Using the zip or rar file 1.Download UpdateCtrl.dll 2.9.2.225
2.Extract UpdateCtrl.dll 2.9.2.225 from .zip. We recommend that you extract UpdateCtrl.dll 2.9.2.225 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting UpdateCtrl.dll 2.9.2.225.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract UpdateCtrl.dll 2.9.2.225 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place UpdateCtrl.dll 2.9.2.225 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 UpdateCtrl.dll 2.9.2.225 and press Enter.
