Using the zip or rar file 1.Download evtatt.dll 7.0.0.8779
2.Extract evtatt.dll 7.0.0.8779 from .zip. We recommend that you extract evtatt.dll 7.0.0.8779 to the installation directory of the program that is requesting evtatt.dll 7.0.0.8779.
3.If that doesn't work, you will have to extract evtatt.dll 7.0.0.8779 to your system directory. By default, this is:
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8)
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000)
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me)
4.If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also place evtatt.dll 7.0.0.8779 in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
5.Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
6.Reboot your computer.
7.If the problem still occurs, try the following:
8.Open Windows Start menu and select "Run...".
9.Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND)).
10.Type regsvr32 evtatt.dll 7.0.0.8779 and press Enter.
